MHO: Right. So I have gone completely backwards in my enjoyment of this work. I first saw the 2005 version of P&P and fell madly in love with it. This was followed by my discovering several fanfictions written on the subject and eventually I was able to steal my darling Mikey's copy. Having finished the book I say that to truly enjoy it you must first see the movie because the visual helps to understand the at times complex language and situations. Also I would like to add that I found the movie much more satisfying in regards to romance.
P.S. There are several works which cont. or in some way add to this story and I was wondering if any one has read them and how they have found them. I read excerpts and was not impressed by a single one but I am not one to truly forsake something before trying it. Please if someone knows a particular fav. point me in that direction. Thank you.
