"Dude! That's INSANE!!!" Insanity is a Real Tight Friend, Folks!
On Wednesday, July 15th, I am heading to Wilmington by way of Greyhound. From there, around the US and back, I will be traveling by way of my bicycle. From N.C. to Vermont to Michigan to Wisconsin to Nebraska to Montana to Washington State to California to Texas to Alabama back to North Carolina on my bicycle.
I want to do this. I'm going to do this. I know I can do this. I know I must do this.
This has been incubating for many years, now... call it a mission or a vision quest or whatever. There are lives I wish to inspire and lift up in some way. If something comes up, I will be there to assist. A prayer walk on two wheels. I am opening myself up to complete strangers. The experience is what I'm getting out of it. I will be leaving North Carolina on my janky English road bike with the blessings of many and the jealous ignorance of fools whom have never felt life outside of their gas-guzzling boxes.
I am accepting long and short conversations, warm thoughts, warm hugs, used bike gear, and because I am of the bohemian set, love offerings/donations.
