Happy Thanksgiving to all from over seas- a big hug and kiss I hope everyone had fun in their own way be it with friends family or other- may it have been full of turkey or tofu or whatever floats your boat- we had our first party here we had introduced our neighbors to Thanksgiving (f.y.i. no Thanksgiving in Holland I am sure most of you know this- but I have been asked)The Party was last night and it was a blast we had 8 folks and ate tons of turkey, stuffing, yams and pumpkin pie to name a few of the items John prepared.
Its funny all our neighbors are from other countries too- it was a house of expats we had a very international party-1Croatian,1 Brit,3 Americans,1Frenchwoman,1 Austrian and 1 Dutchman he came at the end for pie.
Most of them never had yams or pumpkin pie so it was a real treat to share these pleasures...As well everyone loved johns turkey it was so moist - (fyi- turkey isn't really available-we had to order it especially -) so it was a real treat all around- we did miss all our friends but maybe next year folks could come here next year for thanksgiving?
