Bartending
Did not update yesterday! but yeah. Yesterday was my 20th Birthday! yay! :D Because i was lazy, I did not arrange anything big to celebrate: though I was in a habit of celebrating birthdays before College, last year I did nothing special,(though I was with family) and this year... I just kinda let it slide. afterall, my birthday gift to myself was the bartending classes!
ended up my suite, of all people ... Hannah made me cupcakes and a '!' cake because of my nonsense babble about METAL GEAR!? most of the time I'm home. =w= to be honest, I'm more then touched that they would do such a thing! I had candles to go with the cupcakes, as well: a 69. haha, guys, real funny...
Bleach fans would understand right away the reasoning behind the candles no problem! (it's not like I shut up about my obsessions anyways, oops?) but I dread them putting those photos on FB where uncles, aunts, baby cousins, and other general family members + other non-bleach fans see it!
in anycase. Played abit P4 w/ Dana yesterday, and came home. Today was day 2 of classes!
bartending is both easier and harder then what I expect! I got some of the speed pours down, and even the double pours. (1 shot exactly! take that! xD) Main problem? remembering what goes to what drink, and the brand names and what drink tastes like what and what to garnish the drinks with when finished. I think I'm pretty good for speed: we so far learned Highball drinks, Rocks, shots, Margaritas, and multi-liquor drinks. yet all the information is blurring together~ wee~
it's still a great time, though. For now, I'm gona take a nap: I Think i'm coming down with a cold or fever; really, it's SPRING nearing SUMMER. WHY oh WHY is it 6C outside!? with no heat, i think I may have figured out WHY I am sick. *growls* even trying to eat medicine to prevent it did nothing! now I'm stuck with fjkafdsa;h. right. Nap, then shower. Going to get quarters from Bank and do laundry: it's time to pack things and get ready to move out the dorms for the last time.
