I agree, I also enjoy looking more in-depth at the deeper meaning of a story. It's far more engaging when you are closely analyzing a story for a hidden message.

I really appreciate what you said about everyone having a voice in a D2L class. I think that is so true. English Lit can be a bit scary and everyone has an opinion its nice to be able to give one in this venue.

Binaries

I like the puzzle of finding binaries, too. I didn't do so well on intertextuality but that's probably because I wasn't familiar with the stories. Oedipus the King the movie was fun watch. I like it better then reading the script.
