Okay, but, that line, "A little bit of you makes me your man" always kind of freaks me out.
Wes and I watched The Marine this afternoon (7 days late to the movie store -- is it time for us to sign up for NetFlix? SERIOUSLY.) I knew I should be worried when I see that the production studio is WWE Films. Yes, as in the WWE, World Wrestling Entertainment. It was probably the cheesiest, most ridiculous movie I've watched in a long time. I didn't try to take it seriously, so we laughed our asses off throughout the movie. Like every time they'd shoot at something and it would blow up. I swear, there was no fewer than a dozen explosions in this movie. And the bad guy was played by Robert Patrick! And -- they made a bad joke about the Marine being like The Terminator, and OF COURSE, there was a Robert Patrick reaction shot. Wes and I both looked at each other and groaned.
Afterwards, I said, "Well, I'm so glad I spent my afternoon watching this. Thank you for wasting my time." He goes,
"Hey, I lost my afternoon watching this, too!"
We probably also owe about $25 in late fees because we waited so long to watch this. Yes.
I have to take Wes out clothes-shopping tomorrow for vacation, and work. The funny thing is that he actually asked me to do this. This is, naturally, going to be a disaster, since he hates shopping and I hate going with him. We will also spend too much money because we'll both want to get out of there as quickly as possible. In the meantime, I'll get to treat him like my own personal Ken doll -- which is always amusing for the short time it lasts. Heh.
Finally, for a completely random closing thought: I find it really amusing when people's cheeks get flushed when they have a few drinks. I mention this because I noticed this on one of my friends last night (who will remain nameless). It made me want to giggle because we were actually talking about how much we'd had to drink at the point in which I noticed. Cute!!
Okay. I've been avoiding the dishes all afternoon, so I'm going to finish them now. And then my house will be clean again! Happy times.
