Dude, i was at NBC during the Devils game. Oh god it was a heartbreaker. Motherfuck. We played so much better than them too.
About girls: Funny you should mention wanting what you can't have. THAT is what drives girls crazy. You have to stop caring. Be yourself. Don't be afraid to be funny. In fact, be funny at every opportunity. Do nothing but be funny. That's what gets them. I mean, shit, it gets them for me and I am way uglier than you. Plus, you play guitar. Chick MAG-NETTTTTT.
Lastly, college apps: First off, if anyone tries to get you to apply to more than ten schools, you have my permission to give them a nice hard cockpunch. Ten is the ABSOLUTE LIMIT. I applied to eight.
Second, it's actually not hard at all. Just make sure to have a very positive outlook in your essay. Put your nose to the grindstone and get your essay (or two) done. Your teachers will be going easy on you all year. No more "class ends when I say it does, not when the bell rings." Teachers don't try to push seniors around. Senior year belongs to you.
One more thing: You're not getting ready for the real world. College is where your childhood goes out in a blaze of glory. True, your workload will go up in college, but I think you're going to love it, no matter where you end up. Enjoy it.
