another successful christmas
Well, we made it through another christmas, and wasn't it wonderful! I was having trouble getting into the christmas spirit this year, I think I'm just trying to figure out how I feel about christmas, the dynamics have changed. Now i stay up until midnight or later on christmas eve and am helping my parents put gifts out that are addressed to the kids from santa, it's just weird. My whole family also left christmas shopping up until the day before christmas, but no one was freaking out or anything. It was so weird, like the holiday just sort of popped up one day and disappeared just as quickly. Devin was also sick this christmas so that kind of made it weird as well. I got a digital camera which i'm psyched about and lots of jewelry and books. I don't know which one to read first. I have started reading these books in a series called the No.1 Ladies Detective, they are quite funny. And they are short so they are easy reads. Well, Devin is freaking out about going skiing today and making it difficult to write and I don't have much more to say, so I will say goodbye for now.
