yay
I just love it when things fall into place, when the world makes sense, even for a few moments. It just seems to justify everything. Anyways, as you can tell I'm having a good day. A good week I suppose. We've already had two fire alarms (that averages to one a week)...I am not so fond of living in residence right now. My dad wants to buy an apartment in Guelph for next year and lease it out to people. I would be the main occupant so then we won't have to pay outrageous property taxes on it. Yah, i'm not really sure how it all works, but if you live in the property instead of just own it then you avoid a bunch of taxes. It'll be cool if I could have an apartment next year. One that doesn't contain seven people. A car would also be nice, but lets not be too hasty...Sam, one of my roommates has a car, but we don't really hang out, so I don't think we can mooch rides off him, and borrowing the car without him is out of the question. The enviro sci kids are going on a canoe trip tomorrow but I don't think I am going to go.
I think we are going bowling tonight, and Em's boyfriend John I think is coming down, so he can drive us home from bowling. Apparently we are taking the bus there. Oh the adventures in Guelph...It's actually kind of scary, sort of like a calmer version of worcester. Ok, I don't think there has been a murder here in ten years. However, it is scary to walk around downtown at night. I suppose that is the same for any small city.
I bought Halloween earrings today. They are little sparkly pumpkins, very cute and very exciting. We also got a claire's in our mall this summer, so I am going to spend tons of money there this year. I kept wondering why we didnt' have a claire's in our mall. It puzzled me. But now we do and life is good. The one in our mall at home is gigantic, I love it. There's so much crazy stuff. A week or two before I came back to school, there was a buy one get one free sale on jewelry in a store at the mall, it was so exciting. I bought three bracelets and a really funky necklace.
All my plants in my room are dying because the sun never shines directly into my room. Also, the potting soil I bought holds water for about a week and a half, so all my plants roots are rotting out. My spider plant only has three leaves left on it. I feel like a murderer. I don't understand it though because spider plants can live in just a bowl of water with no soil, but apparently wet soil is different than water, because there is fungis in the soil that will start attacking the roots (well, something like that...).
Alright, that is all for now, I think we shall be departing shortly. I guess we are goint to take a cab instead, that should be fun. I guess John thinks taking the bus this late at night is too dangerous. Yah, I was kind of thinking the same thing. It is freezing out tonight. It's supposed to go down to 5C, that's cold, considering it has been above 20C for the past several days. We had a huge thuderstorm yesterday. It was crazy. The sky would flash like crazy for about 5 seconds and then there would be a huge CRACK!! There were no bolts of lightning, the sky would just flash. It was awesome. Ok, that's all. TTFN.
