Does it make me a facebook elitist if I'm upset that high schoolers can now friend college students? I mean, not that I don't LOVE my still-in-high-school buddies, but the cool thing about facebook was that it was a college thing. Sure you could HAVE one in high school, but it was separate from college. Now facebook is pretty much the same thing as ( Read more... )

It sucks! I don't even have Facebook yet! NO FAIR!:( *cry* but oh well, I will sooner or later.

I would say something to her about it, but the thought of talking to her voluntarily makes me throw up in my mouth a little. She's so gross, I can't stand her. Blech.

I'm with you Dana. I don't want facebook to be flooded with 14 year old high school freshmen. They have myspace for that. Facebook should be earned with a high school diploma!

Thank you! I always thought that the whole point of facebook was to keep in touch with your crew once you all graduated and went off to separate colleges. I don't really understand high school facebook because it seems like...who the hell are they keeping in touch with? The people they see every day in the halls? And now they're able to friend those of us who successfully escaped the pod of public school...blech. I love my highschool buddies, but I think they can stick it out for a couple months until they get their own .edu email. Oh well.
