Retreat!!!
well i must say for me, this retreat had the least amount of drama between my friends (other ppl.. wow was their drama)....but yea we get htere and we go rite to the gym and eat, bc we kinda got lost.. (the least of our worries) then had a session and yea went bak to the cabins (we had the boys cabin from last yr... and we had the huge sacntuary instead of the little chapel..) Mama Duke was with Rae, Bri, NIki, and I.. it was soo much fun.. we stayed up late talkin about random questions put out by Rae Rae.. and yea Bri fell outa bed when she heard one question.. hahaha.. i almost fell outa bed.. but i luckily didnt.. lol..
sat was a cool day (at times)... Joey V.. who is a very cool guy, got realli sick.. i felt soo bad for him. (alot of other ppl got sick as well) but yea.. after lunch is started to snow.. so after about an hr or so, the grounds were covered.. and i have awesome pics to show ya.. Bri and i went on a walk towards the River.. and we got cold so we came bak.. then dave wanted to go and no one else wanted to. so Bri and I went along.. and we took somemore realli cool pictures.. my camera even caught the snow fallin from the sky.. pretty neat huh.. then their was a snowball fight. and i went in the gym and dave threw a football at me and it hit me in the head.. lol.. kinda funny.. he felt soo bad.. then i made him walk all the way with me bak to my room to get my money to go to the snack shop.. and he was clobbered wit snowballs.. lol.. then we got hot chocolate and Niki, Bri, Dave, Dan and Ev went to the gym to talk.. and we had some crazy convo's "wat does that matter that ur mom's gay" lol... well i must say that was hilarious.. and NIkis afriad of snow.. so dave and bri pushed her bakwards in the wheelchair (cuz it was busted) all hte way to dinner.. then we had a session.. and i had a serious talk with dave (not even going there) and yea we all went bak at 11 to sing and be prayed over for the up coming year.. i cried wit tiff for a realli long time.. u kno when u just start cryin and u cant stop.. yea that was me.. then Joey looked at his watch and said "stop everything.... 10..9..8..7..6..5..4...3..2..1.. happy new year.. and yea bri and i went hyper.. lol.. and i gave like soo many hugs to different people.. and we went bak to the room and went to bed approx 2:30 ish
sunday.. woke up tired.. Niki got sick.. with a bad migrain which cleared up around 8ish.. had breakfast then paked then went to a session about hardship.. then it was time for us to talk.. which was encouraging..then i had another talk with dave about life.. and yea it was pretty neat about the things we talked about.. then we waited for the bus that was supposed to arrive at 1.. so its like 3 when we r supposed to be bak at the church.. and we all call our rides and tell them the buses r still not there yet.. played volleyball (which i regret now) then cheered wit Melinda, Jill and Megs. .. still waited then we order dinner.. ate.. and then dave and i shooted hoops while standing on a skateboard.. it was funny.. well we started off by foolin around on the skateboard.. adn the first time dave stepped on it.. he whipped out.. soo funny.. and yea that was fun.. then we joined a bunch of ppl in the halls and we laughed about this whole delema.. at 9:30.. we had some parents from the church who could drive buses came and picked us up.. we got home at 11:30ish.. this was honestly THE funest retreat.. ive ever been on..
this past year.. has had its ups and downs.. but 2006 is going to be awesome and sad.. graduation, college, 18th bday (3 months, yay!) and prom.. o boy dont wanna start even thinkin about that... ugh.. well God has taught me soo much this past yr that it would take me hrs to type it all out.. all i can say is "dont doubt God's power and love" and "burn it all away, all that doesnt glorify you Jesus"
