Thanks for your patience as I got this letter together-I really hope you're reading! I'm so excited that you're writing for me, and most of this letter boils down to: oh god feelings, I love feelings, I want to bathe in feelings. I've split the letter up into overall preferences and then specific comments by fandom. Can't wait to see what you come up with!!

Characters: Ed Warren, Lorraine Warren
I spent most of both of these movies clawing at my face and yelling "THEY LOVE EACH OTHER SO MUCH." I still do it when I rewatch them (which is often). I am super super super interested in the couple pre-canon. I'd love to figure out how they met, the moment they shared their stories/believed each other, maybe a first case or two. Anything you can give me that deals with their deep and abiding love for each other is going to make me super happy. Maybe moments post-case where they spend time wrapped up in success and the fact that they're safe and that they've got each other? Or when they found out they were expecting? Love and feelings please!
It doesn't need to follow anything from the real Warrens' lives, although if you want to use that to help narrow down time-frames and things, that's fine! I would prefer not to have explicit fic for this fandom, but some smolder and fade-to-black wouldn't go awry.
Ocean's 8 (2018)
Characters: Debbie Ocean, Lou Miller
Ok, what wasn't to love about this movie and these ladies???? I have always loved heist movies in general, and the Ocean's movies in particular, and this movie was perfect. It felt pretty clear to me that Debbie and Lou have some romantic entanglement, so I'd love to see that explored. I'd love to look into how they met, what sparked them working together on jobs, what sparked them getting involved romantically. I'm pretty open to the ambiguity of their relationship, so feel free to play with that-I think it's obvious they're attracted to each other, deeply care about each other, and rely on each other, but maybe they haven't really gotten on the same page yet? Or maybe they jumped each other on day one and it's been a rollercoaster since! I think they're just always going to circle back to each other, and I'd love to know how they each feel about that.
I also love love love found families, so I'd also be really happy to see you explore the two of them in the context of the team. Does anyone on the team know about them? Is it something they all speculate on quietly but no one ever talks about?
(Totally optional, in case you're a larger Ocean's fan: If you're up to it, it would be cool to rope in Danny and Rusty. I'd love to see Danny and Debbie interacting, and a parallel look at Debbie/Lou and Danny/Rusty could be a lot of fun.)
Mostly, I just love these ladies and want to dive inside their heads, especially with regard to each other. A little steamy/funny sexy time wouldn't be out of place, although I'm happy without it, too.
Six of Crows Series - Leigh Bardugo
Characters: Kaz Brekker, Inej Ghafa
Ok, it might be a little basic to fall in love with the bad boy protagonist of a YA series, BUT I DON'T CARE. I love Kaz Brekker and his horrible self all the way down to the heart he thinks he turned off. I am basically desperate to have more of an internal look at his feelings for Inej and how he comes to grips with them. Anything you give me that's introspective on Kaz's part or includes the two of them awkwardly trying to discuss their feelings, inasmuch as either of them is capable of doing, is going to be amazing!! I'd love a story that takes place entirely in their own little world, however that strikes you. I just love the idea of the two of them finding something in each other that makes it worth facing their own demons. I want to see Kaz work hard to remove his armor for Inej.
I think the healing process for both of them is going to be a long time coming, so I'd prefer not to have anything explicit for this pairing. They don't even need to touch each other-I'm happy with just a gross feelings fest.
The Office (US) RPF
Characters: B.J. Novak, Mindy Kaling
These two really hit my "secret relationship" button. I love the idea that they're secretly together or have been at times over the past decade or so since their first relationship. This relationship particularly is well suited for epistolary fic (near constant text messaging!!!) and banter.
For fic set before Mindy had her daughter: I'd love to read any late night phone calls or text sessions between them. Times when they're not sleeping together but she gets home from work to find him sitting on her couch in his boxers with takeout just because that's how their friendship works. What their first discussion post-Stern was like. Cuddling, spending the night together, constantly blurring the lines between friends and lovers. I'd be interested in reading sexytime, but less in a super porny way and more in a feelings way.
For fic set after Mindy had her daughter: Is the baby BJ's or not? If so, how are they handling this all? Was it planned? How did they decide to keep it under wraps? How do they feel about their secret little family? If not, I'm going to assume that she chose to start a family because she wanted to, but it wasn't with a partner per se. How does BJ get along with the baby? Is he still constantly around the house, helping out, spending time? Are they back together again or in one of their just-friends phases?
I think I'd prefer fic set before the baby, but I'll leave that up to you! In general, I'd love to read slices of life that really explore their feelings, and I'm definitely a sucker for happy endings!
