Templeman, Templeman, nananananana Templeman

We have moved into our new house on Templeman Street in St. John's, the Parkhill house turned into a fiasco where we were royally screwed but then it turned into something even better than before.

We were getting really excited for the Parkhill place but a week before we're suppose to move in Parkhill Steve calls to say he needs to talk to us, meets him and he says his ex wife found a loop hole in which he owes her more money and he has to either give her half the rent or sell the house and hints a lot at us to start looking elsewhere. We have less than 2 weeks to move out of the place we got and Mastiff Steve has new tenants. We had several possibilities but they all fell through in the end and we're out of the way. We call the tenants act that states were protected by the exchange of money and a verbal contract, even if someone bought the house we would be part of the agreement. We tell Parkhill Steve this and he just quietly says ok then he keeps avoiding us. We get 2 more calls from him: one to say he's declaring bankruptcy (the one thing that doesn't cover us) but he'll let us stay there for 3 months to find a new place before he does then a second call to say his lawyer states he should do it right away.

So needless to say we were a little stressed. Thom's mom, Florence, phones and asks for the down low. She's says you'll be alright then starts calling everywhere in St. John's from the west coast. From an apartment complex we get a number to a guy with a small house. Thom calls it and it's obviously too small but he says he has another place, that night him and Vanessa go and see it and within 10 mins we gave them the damage deposit and have the keys. :D

It's a beautiful home! 3 storey with garage, 4 car parking, large backyard, 2 level deck, 2 full bathrooms, 2 half bathrooms, 4 bedrooms (1 is a music room and the other a guest room), living room with patio doors, sitting room with a propane fireplace, and hardwood/ceramic throughout plus crown mouldings. :D We're all very in love.

Meanwhile, when all of this was happening I was home. Very stressful visit but still good. I got to see dad who will be home in time for the wedding and just hung out with the fam.

Gah I have no luck with shoes. My full cover shoes are starting to break in but that heels still get rubbed after awhile. I found another great pair of flip flops that look like the girls dresses but the design in the front digs into my toes but I can get a gel pad for that. I'm trying to break them in too. http://www.aldoshoes.com/ca-eng/women/sandals/flats/83200074-maddoy/80

The wedding is coming along thank god but we're still waiting on 64 people. It's crazy, we started with 120, went up to 150 and then final count is 188! We nearly had a stroke but it was all people we forgot or our mom's wanted. We're paying for 150 and we're under that now so 'phew'. Just need to get a final count.

So settling into house and wedding planning as per usual. Already have Thom a guitar for our wedding now I need to get him a li'l something extra.

We're still planning Las Vegas in April :D Hoping to book by next week.

Oh my so tired. First time ever in charge last night, very stressful but thankfully a quiet night. Hoping the same tonight too.
