Wanna be downtown now!
I can't wait to move. Paradise seemed pretty great at first until we realized it's a half hour drive or a $30 cab ride one way to get downtown. Our new place will be 4 mins, really can't wait.
We tried Zapata's Mexican restaurant on Friday and it was horrible (over priced, greasy, cheap taste) but the next day we went to Sundance on George Street with Vanessa and Craig. Super cheap and super delicious. Most meals were $10 and pints for less than $5 so a definite return.
We're heading home Thursday or Friday (June 23 or 24) and we're so excited to go, it's been 3 months. We're planning a stop in to Clancy's on the way home but as soon as we get in I have to drop off my dress to Aunt Susan's, she's heading to Germany June 27. Lee's wedding is Saturday so we're going to that, other than the bride and groom we'll only know Ryan but whatever. A trip to CB on Sunday to finish wedding plans with Jennifer's, visit nan and to visit Susan and her new baby. The rest will be home til we head back Thursday, I'll miss dad though. :( He left for Manitoba last week, first time working there. He says it's alright.
Vanessa's bridesmaids dress arrived, gah won't see it til Tuesday or Wednesday! So nervous since we never saw an actual dress. :S
It's almost been a year since Yuna got sick. She was sick June 26 and was finally well enough to come home July 2. I'm so thankful she's been so good ever since, can't believe she's 9!
Yea it's very unlikely we'll have a honeymoon this year but definitely Las Vegas in April. Thom wants to see Beatles Love Cirque Du Soleil and I can't wait for The Lion King. There's a few shows the 4 of us want to see so we're thinking the whole trip will cost about $4000. :P
Ugh what a pitiful June, only 8*C today and rain but I love the sound of the rain.
Love hearing Thom play guitar, he's loves his wedding gift. A real Fender with a star burst pattern, she's beautiful. Killing him he can't play her til after the wedding, lol.
He loves his ring too, platinum. Dad even really liked it. We were going to get them engraved but mine is too small with diamonds on the outside of half. Boo.
