(no subject)
Ok, funny story: So two of my really good friends are rooming together at PLU and I wanted to get them both one thing that they could use in their dorm for Christmas. I was at work and on my way out of the mall when I went past a little kiosk that sold these smallish hermit crabs. I thought this might be a good gift for them since they can't have normal pets in the dorm. So I bought one and some food and a cage for it. When I got home, I started looking at it a little closer ...and those things are UGLY! Ew, it grossed me out just looking at it. Plus, it takes a lot more to take care of than I thought it did. You have to give it baths twice a week and keep its cage at a certain temperature. ITS A FREAKIN CRAB!! Anyway, I have to take care of it until I give it to them which will hopefully be later today. Ugh. the thing is so gross-looking.
On a totally different note, it seems like when one part of your life is going great, another turns bad. God has really blessed my family this Christmas by answering a lot of prayers the way we hoped they would be answered. But as soon as that happened, we find out that my sisters family is suddenly really struggling right now. My family, especially my mom, are strong advocates of prayer so thats all we can do about it now. I have a feeling it will all work out in the end. :)
