Glad to see I'm not the only one who likes to torture myself with pretty pictures of delicious food. Nabbing 3 of stock and then 13, 21, and 22 of Alice. Will credit when I use. :)
Also, I noticed you used the lyrics to Whiter Shade of Pale... Have you happened to see the 10th Kingdom or are you an oldies fan? Either way, WIN. :D
haha yes I did! That's where I first heard it, and now I'm a bit obsessed with old music. I listen to Bon Jovi, The Eagles, and yeah... so no, not old lady. Speaking of 10th K, I have a fanfic that's Alice and is crossing over with 10th K. You should check it out! It's called The Time has Come.
Yes, oldies are wonderful... Planning to learn the guitar just so I can play oldies and classic rock. :D Fender statocaster love. <3
So I assume you liked 10th Kingdom? I'm hoping at the very least Simon Moore (the writer) will write a book or series as a sequel. It would be awfully unfair of him to add in that ending and never finish his stories, especially since he wants to. The idea he has for the next part sounds wonderful, too. I can link you if you'd like. :)
Strangely, I'm okay that Alice is finished, if only because you can't beat that gloriously adorable ending... even if there is so much more to tell. I hold a glimmer of hope for a prequel though.
Oh a link would be love! I'd love to learn guitar if only to play bon jovi, I lerv me some bon jovi. I adored 10th K, read the book, own the movies...love it. Alice was fabulous, I wouldn't mind if they continued it, but I still LOVED the ending lol. Yes, you check that out and let me know what you think, it's love lol.
Right here is his description of the second part, just scroll to the second entry. I'm planning to send him a letter soon, as well as the leader of the forum sends him questions people ask every once in a while. I think a letter is much more polite and personal, though.
I will definitely go and read that and tell you what I think just after I get over my LOTR Merry/Pippin kick. It's the only other slash pair I believe besides Spock/Kirk. XD
Haha! then you saw the link to Enemy. My friend and I just need to finish that off. But if you register you can see the stuff that's on it, as I have members able to see it. We need a jupiter actually.
Oh yes, my interests are varied, and very....odd lol. I'm that rare breed of cool lol. Well you could try out, we are going to be a bit harder this go cause we ended up with some people who poofed on us, and we figure if you make people work harder they're less likely to poof right? Sounds reasonable. As for friending, have at it!
Oh, I really do like people with odd and varied interests. I myself am the type and it's seems rather hard to find others of the same uniqueness. For instance, I like fashion, pokemon, and contact juggling (which all go together very well).
Haha those do go together perfectly! See my list is much large probably.... photoshop (graphic designing), photography, hippy clothes, most sciences, english, andy warhol, sm, 10th k, alice...yeah this could go on all day.
Interested in everything you put there besides andy warhol. Not that I don't like him, just haven't looked him up much. And my interest list spans tons of eras and cultures so I won't go about listing it either.
I can go from watching Supernatural to Care Bears, to sculpting, to reading about celtic culture, then buying mod furniture. The only things I find hard to put together are old-world and handmade with new-world and technology. Still working on that one. I do like Steampunk, though.
Oh, I've gotten into interior designing, particularly my room. I have some victorian style furniture in with my contemporary stuff. Clean lines and those lovely swirls work so great together. I also mix in my odd stuff from other eras. So long as the colors don't go too far off then everything goes. I base my stuff on yellow and brown, but my arm chair is blue....it's lovely.
Oh, that sounds exquisite. You know, I never thought of that but you're right. I'm very into physical and, inevitably, visual texture and the contrast between clean lines and woven fabrics would be lovely. Thank you for that!
It's always nice to get someone else's perspective on things!
Also, a bit of good news on 10th Kingdom that I thought I would share with you! It appears that Simon Moore has contacted Robert Halmi (producer of Alice and 10th Kingdom) and he is trying to get the next series syndicated!
