Concert choir is going to be amazing next semester and I just realized it yesterday while talking enthusiastically with Molly, Rachel, Andrew and Terry about how far we've come. I guess I never realized it. They were really onto something when they picked Dr. Carlson for the job. I guess I'm not a good judge of our sound because I'm so critical and presumptious of our sound based on my bias towards last year's ensemble. But, apparently we are sounding good enough to be attracting some highly qualified people who are going to make the ensemble incredible: Chris, Elliott, Nick, Ryan, Bethany, Courtney, and possibly Rachel Kuntz. We're also losing a couple of people we can definitely do without.
I'm really starting to like Dr. Carlson. Though I don't know her that well at ALL, she's like the mother figure here. I just realized what a step up she is from Baboukis. Next semester has a lot in store including back-to-back weekend tours and some incredible repertoire. *Excitement*
