my dad never ceases to amaze me.
So last night, my dad watched the movie August Rush. I had never seen it, and to be honest, I wasn't even sure that I DID want to. Until my dad came downstairs ranting about the movie. But the funny thing about it wasn't that his rants are what made me want to see it, it was what he said to me. He told me that the little boy reminded him so much of me. Now, I don't know if any of YOU have seen the movie, but I watched it last night after he came down. He said I reminded him of that little boy in that I live the music. In every step I take, in the way I turn everything in my life into a song. He also said that my little sister reminded him of it too, in the fact that she can create music. She taught herself to play the piano. But what my father said to me, and how he related that miraculous little boy in the movie TO ME just blew my mind. And I was so honored. And am still relatively speechless.
Also, if you haven't seen that movie, you need to. It completely blew my mind.
