Dog comes running out of the kitchen ahead of Jen and nearly collides with Alex's legs. "He wants to play," she says, watching Dog. She's wrapped her arms around herself, wearing an oversized sweater and sweatpants. She feels cold, but it's the kind of cold that comes from being exhausted.

Alex leaned down letting Vulpe down before ruffling Dog's fur. "We can play big guy." He straightened up stepping up to Jen.

She raises an eyebrow as he gets close. "Hi."

He smiled at her,"Hi there."

"I guess Dog has to wait, hm?" she smiles back.

"Just for a minute,"he leaned in just a little.

She stands there, watching him curiously.

He brushed his lips against her's. "I love you."

She smiles into his kiss, "I love you, too."

He beamed at her before walking over to the dogs' toy box and throwing a tennis ball for Dog.

Jen watches him, still smiling. Dog goes tearing after the ball, sliding on the hardwood floor as he tries to make a U-turn.

He chuckled to himself watching the dog skid on the floor.

He picks up the ball and brings it halfway back to Alex.

"Oh you're only coming partway back huh?" He shook his head and walked over to grab the ball.

"He's going to make you work for it," she teases. Dog runs around Alex feet eagerly waiting the next toss.

Alex tossed it again letting the ball bounce.
