This year has been one helluva ride, and it ain't over yet.
Someone tried to steal my truck Monday. Had the door open and their foot on the steprail, since the idiots at the Henderson Shell station decided to leave the keys in the ignition and the doors unlocked after they finished the inspection.
Just tonight, my boss was mugged outside the Target. Beaten up pretty badly, but no broken bones - except for the one she gave one of her attackers. The police haven't caught them yet that we know of, but we're keeping our fingers crossed.

And if that doesn't beat all, an old friend of mine got back in touch today.
...God, I missed that voice.
