I had a halloween spicecake cupcake and it was delicious. Especially at 2:30 in the morning. ^^ ((when I look back at this five years from now I'll know why I gained forty pounds in college))
Yesterday and today the weather change has been very clear. My favorite time of the year is the coming of Fall, of cool weather and a gentle sun, with leaves littering the ground you tread and the option to wrap yourself warm in sweaters. It's simple things like keeping yourself warm that make me enjoy life. Not to mention, tis the season of Halloween, and the excitement of coming upon a day when you can be anything you want for an evening. Not to mention, Thanksgiving comes afterwards, when I get to see family and have pecan pie, and maybe play a little football. I even adore the fall colors, browns, reds and oranges. It's a wonderful time of the year.
My dad used to sing this French song that recently replayed itself in my memory. It's called Champs Elysees by Joe Dassin. I looked up the lyrics and I'm working on memorizing it. It brings back such happy memories of Guatemala, where he first sang it for me and my family. It's the classic French type of song that I'd love to be able to sing for other people.
