sneak into my empty bed and educate me
Today is a day off and because of that, I am happy.
Last night was spent telling secrets to boys who I probably shouldn't have, and discussing tattoos and "scenester" music and spending time with the always lovely Hands Longcrotch. I didn't sleep at all last night. I was up 'till practically 5 am and I had to force my eyes to close even though I was exhausted.
Today I called my sister up in B-Ham and left messages on her machine and I hope to God she calls me back because I miss her too much for words.
I'm listening to this lately:
Stellastarr* - hands down my new favorite album. It vocally sounds like The Pixies and musically sometimes The Cure and the male singing is almost Joy Division like...it's FANTASTIC and completely 80's and I must see them live immediately.
Slumber Party - this album is so beautiful, I LOVE it
Cat Power - I finally bought a new copy of this because I lent it out last year and NEVER got it back. Ahhh, I'm basking in the loveliness known as Moonpix again.
