After giving nurse Suzie explicit instructions to page you if anything changes, you exit the NICU and spot Wilson leaning against the wall with his eyes closed.  Hearing the door click shut, he jerks his head in your direction and you know by the look on his face

I had already given up hope seeing another chapter of this fic again. This is why I was madly excited to see un update from you!

I am still so in love with this fic. I love the pacing and the dark despair that House is in. Of course he ignores Wilsons's and his own mother's concern for him, because he is so fixated in getting to Cameron as quickly as possible and making sure she's alright.

I'll be patiently looking forward to the next chapter of this wonderful fic.

Oh no! SO sorry you had given up hope! I promise I will finish this story. There's nothing that saddens me more in the fandom when a brilliant author abandons a story I love, without any explanation.

Life has just gotten in the way. But, I have every intention of finishing this fic. I don't want to be one of those authors that just leaves everyone hanging and never gives them the satisfaction of an ending.

I totally understand when RL gets in the way of stuff :) So, no worries, I'm just extremely happy that you are still continuing with this. YAY!

It really is heartbreaking when favourite authors abandon their fics. I don't write myself so I don't really know the process behind writing, but I would think it is not easy to keep yourself constantly inspired when canon itself is completely full of crap :S

I was also afraid that you seemed to be so discouraged by your Secret Santa fic that you had given up writing fic altogether. I thought there were many amazing Christmas fics this time and yours was definitely one of them. I do not believe for a second that your recipient was not happy with it. I'm not sure I'm the right person to say this, but you should never be embarrassed by your writing, there's no reason :)

Wow, for a person who very rarely leaves comments, I seem to have rambled my way through this one. LOL. Anyway, what I meant to say was - keep them chapters coming :P

PS. I can't wait to see Cameron!!!
