(no subject)
First, some happy stuff to begin a Thursday morning. I have decided to contribute to yet another Internet fad.
Second, is Mercury retrograde or something? I missed the ESA deadline and had a mix-up with the bus to South Florida. Also, my committee cut all the hard chemistry out of my research project. Now I'm just staging bug fights. It's still really interesting, but I can't help wishing I were attending a university with better resources.
Third, at Krishna Lunch the other day, some weird dude came out of nowhere and started trying to give Monster energy drinks to the Hare Krishnas. He seemed like some kind of promoter, trying to get them to give away free samples with Krishna Lunch. I had to eat so I don't know what happened, but I do know the Krishnas abstain from tea, coffee, and all other sources of caffeine.
