Sadly as I venture off to Pittsburgh my bedroom is becoming a guest room. My mom already has visions of Lilly Pulitzer linens dancing in her head. So I'm cleaning out my room, and at this current time I am focusing on my wardrobe. Like, hard core cleaning out. I'm only keeping things I actually wear on a semi-regular basis or things I have a major emotional attachment to.
So I thought I'd offer up some of my belongings to you people before I donate them to a church. Obviously I'm not looking for any major profit, maybe just a few spare dollars to throw in to my latte fund.
Enjoy. Lemme know if you want any of it and if you live close enough by I'll even drop it off for you.
Skirts! Yaay, skirts!
1. $3
Cute, eh? I've always been partial to black and hot pink together. You should be too.
2. $3 This one's pretty much rediculously awesome. I got it for a princess spirit day and then never really wore it again. But I mean really, who doesn't want a pink mini skirt with tulle on it?
3. $2
Long black chino fabric skirt. Its from banana republic so its pretty nice, I just don't have the grace to walk in long skirts very well.
4. $3 This used to be one of my fav skirts. It's stretchy and comfy and has leaf prints on it. Meaning it would really come in handy if you plan last minute safaris in Africa like the Pierce-Cook family does and you're in need of some suitable clothing.
5. $2 Sz 6 Similar cut to #4, but more of a flannel-y fabric. Not icky flannel, cozy flannel. It's plaid and cute and if you hiked it up a lot it'd be perfect for Allie's next naughty school girl party.
6. $2 Sz 7/8
Denim skirt with raw hems. The picture makes it look like its faded wierder than it is. I swear its cute. And I mean really, how could you pass up a main line staple for only two bucks?
7. $2 Black velvet skirt with a sassy little hem on the bottem. Would be fun for dancing. If you're into that.
8. $2 Back view:
Grey chino skirt from Urban Outfitters. The picture makes it look like there's a bleach stain on it or something, but there's not. It's just the lighting.
9. $2
Chanel-style tweed skirt, black, pink, and white. Pretty freakin cute, just never fit me that well. Maybe it'd be better for you. And for $2, why not try?
Shirts! Shirts! (This reminds me of the time I reinacted that scene from The Great Gatsby in Katie Hudson's parents' bedroom. Woo. 10th grade, good times)
1. $1 I dont really even know why I own this. Yes, that would be a boa wrapped around the off the shoulder neckline. I used it as part of a halloween costume one time. Maybe that's what you'd use it for too. Or maybe you're just the kind of person who can pull this off so it'll look like Dior. Or maybe not.
2. $2 Super cozy coral colored fleece-y shirt. Perfect for sitting outside on cool summer nights, or inside your dorm next year.
3. $1 Stretchy white zip-up. Comfy. Essential. Yeah.
4. $1
Hooded white terry cloth zip-up from Abercrombie and Fitch. You can't really find a more perfect bathing suit cover up than this.
5. $2 Charcoal grey fleece zip up. Drafty dorm room essential.
6. $1 Reddish pinkish henley from Old Navy. Rarely wore it, I'm just not a henley person.
Don't be fooled by the J. Crew label, this sweater's got attttitude. It's hot pink. That's all there is to it. Take it for three bucks.
1. $2
Pretty much fabulously adorable. You can see that, so I'll move on.
2. $1 Pink silk cami, with floral detailing around the neckline.
3. $0.50 One of my first t-shirt reconstructions way back from middle school. I'm not really sure why you'd want this. Perhaps because someday when I'm a famous clothing designer you can say you had a Sam Stahl original? Perhaps.
4. $1 Stretchy white cami. Built in bra. Oh la la.
5. $2 Coral sweater halter from J. Crew. Pretty adorable for the summah time.
6. $1 Just a plain green tank top. But since I'm frequently seduced by two for $10 deals at the mall, I occasionally arive home and realize I now have two green tank tops, so I might as well sell the old one.
7. $1 Maroon tank top from Abercrombie with some pretty awesome gold detailing around the neckline and on the straps.
Oh me oh my, PANTS.
1. $3 Some good ole' size 8 long jeans that I got bored with. So I ripped a few holes and sewed on some hippy-ish fabric behind some of them. Way better than any sevens or citizens.
2. $1 Sz small Just some plain white sweatpants. Who doesn't need sweatpants for school next year?
3. $2 Villanova sweat pants with 'Nova on the rear. I wore them all the time in 8th grade. I remember Chad Cross used to frequently remind me that I had Nova on my ass. So if you want people remindind you of this splendid fact, buy these sweatpants!
4. $2 Pretty much the most adorable pajama bottoms of all time. Pale blue with green floral detailing around the bottom. Capri length. Yeah. Buy em.
5. $1 Yummy yummy yellow and navy spandex shorts. 'Nuff said.
I realize I forgot sizes a lot. I'm lazy. Sorry. It's summer ok? If you want to know, ask. Alot of it is between sizes 6 and 8, but a lot of it would fit a pretty wide range of sizes.
