Title: The Wedding of The Century
Pairing: Vam (of course) and a *little* Bam/Missy
Author: Lindze (No I’m NOT dead!!!)
Rating: PG-13 (lemme get back on my feet before any higher)
Notes: There is just a *little* Missy hating in this fic so if you like her, then don’t read it. Also, I’m just getting back on my feet (or should I say finger-tips) after my comp died for ever… So now I’m back and I’ll be writing more again!
“Ville I don’t know if I can do this.” Bam said as he paced the floor in his dressing room.
It was the day of the wedding, just a few minutes before Bam was supposed to skate out and down the isle, and he was just realizing that he couldn’t commit to Missy.
“Bam, you made this choice, you need to stick with it.” Ville said sighing. “I’m sorry, but you made it and you broke this.”
Bam made his way over to where Ville was sitting, clothed in a black pinstriped suit. He kneeled down in front of Ville and lay his head on Ville’s lap. “I should never have told Missy I’d go back out with her. You know I just didn’t want this getting to the press. HIM would die if it did.”
“Did you ever think that maybe I or the band didn’t care if it did? I’m pretty sure you were just thinking about yourself.” Ville said pushing at Bam and trying to get him to stand up.
Bam stayed where he was. “I know I was. Ville I always do, you know that. I thought it would be better for everyone though.”
“Well it’s not. It never will be. I don’t even know why I agreed to be your best man.” Ville said letting a tear run down his cheek.
“Because you love me, the wedding is being televised, and you know it’s best for everyone. Come on who else would I ask?”
“Someone NOT your boyfriend. Or should I say ex.” Ville said, finally pushing Bam backwards on the floor and standing up. “Now lets just get this over with.”
Ville walked out of the room, leaving a stunned and horrified Bam on the floor, two seconds away from crying. “I can’t do this, I can’t do this.” He muttered to himself.
Bam finally got up and walked into the outer area of his grandparents church. It had been Ape’s idea to have the wedding in the church. Bam didn’t even want a wedding.
He let his skateboard fall out of his hands, onto the floor. He put one foot on it and slowly skated to the door into the main room. Dico was standing there and he opened the door for Bam, patting him on the back as he passed. Gone With The Sin came loud over the church speakers, and everyone stood. Bam took a deep breath and looked up at his future. A girl that he didn’t even like, let alone love.
He pushed off and started skating all the way up to where Missy was standing. He looked opposite her where Ville was. He gave Ville a weak smile and turned to Missy. The reverend started talking but everything suddenly just went silent to Bam. He couldn’t hear anything but the faint sound of HIM still playing in the background. Bam had told everyone he wanted the songs at his wedding to be HIM, but he didn’t realize how hard it would be.
He listened intently to Ville’s voice, singing Gone With The Sin. It tore at Bam, he knew he had to do something. Suddenly…
“Does anyone have any objections of why these two shall not be wed?” The reverend asked.
Bam looked around. He looked at Dunn, Dico, Rake, and all his other friends there that day. He looked at every member of HIM hoping that one of them would say something. He hoped that they would, knowing that Linde had a major problem with Bam not staying with Ville. All he saw was tears streaming down Linde’s face.
“I do!”
Everybody looked stunned, even Missy.
“What you actually thought I’d marry you? Hells no.” Bam said picking up his board and turning around. “There’s only one person that I love.” He smiled up at Ville.
“Niin jykeva on rakkaus.” Bam said, kissing Ville on the cheek. He wrapped his arms tightly around Ville’s waist and held his head to Ville’s chest, listening to his heartbeat. “I love you Ville Valo.”
Everyone gasped. Bam laughed softly, even though he was crying. He turned to where the closest camera was and looked straight into it. “Yep that’s right fuckers. I’m in love with Ville Valo. You have a problem with that, then screw you!” He flipped off the camera then turned back around.
“So is this going to be the DVD?” Ville asked jokingly, sniffing softly and holding Bam tightly.
Bam laughed lightly and kissed Ville softly on the lips. “Nope. This whole things live.”
“Then lets give them all a show.” Ville whispered pulling Bam closer and kissing him hard.
Every member of HIM stood up clapping. Slowly each of Bam’s friends did the same. Soon everyone in the seats were standing up and clapping for the couple, except for Bam’s grandparents, and everyone there for Missy, but Bam didn’t care. All he needed was Ville.
Bam slowly let go of Ville and looked around, smiling when he saw everyone standing and clapping for him. He turned around and noticed that Missy had run off. He still didn’t care. He turned back around and dropped onto one knee and took Ville’s hand in his. “Ville Hermanni Valo, will you marry me?”
Ville fell to his knees and wrapped his arms around Bam. “Yes of course my love.”
Novak walked up behind Ville and patted him on the back. “Hey man, don’t you remember what you said you always wanted to hear? Do this shit right.”
Ville smiled up at Novak. “Of course.” He turned back to Bam. “Bam, yes I fucking do.”
