It has been rumored that Green Day and The Network are one and the same. If you've never heard of The Network you should go back to the rock you live under and die. There is many similarities between the two bands. The Network sounds like a more electronic version of Green Day. It has been said that the album was originally Green Day's but it was rejected, so they formed a new band and put out the album. If you've heard the song "spike", or "supermodel robots" then you know for a fact that it's Billie Joe who is singing. If you're not familiar with Billie Joe or Green Day then i've probably already killed you or beat the crap out of you. The band is signed to a record label that conveniently is co-owned by Billie Joe Armstrong. And if you look on The Network's website you can see bio's of all five members. Billie Joe Armstrong is the leader under the alias "Fink" which could be compared to the alias he used to use to write songs, "Wilhelm Fink" coincidence, I think not. Mike Dirnt is under the alias "Van Gough" and Tre Cool is under the alias "Snoo". The other two members are rumored to be two band members from Devo. When you look at Fink's bio you see that he is an aquarian, well so is Billie Joe. It also tells you that he finances the band, which Billie Joe would because he's co-owner of Adeline records. When you look at Van Gough's bio you see that he's a vegan, well so is Mike Dirnt. On The Network's DVD if you pause it at the right moments you can clearly see that Fink's tattoos look exactly like Billie Joe's. It's remarkable how bad they are at hiding their true identities. Sure they wear masks but it still doesn't hide who they truly are. GREEN DAY RULES!!!
