There is a Shaun of the Dead play happening, at the maddermarket, the Dude rekons he's going to perform it March/April time, which is a little bit to close to the Alice performance date for me to do anything in it. Except maybe a Zombie extra. I got an email from him today which say's this: "Auditions for Shaun are still being help on the 16th of October but now as a workshop, which will start at 1pm, if you are still interested then please return this e-mail and let us know. The reason is that security at County Hall need to know who is attending, and we need to know by the 9th of October." Which followed an email that said this "Thanks for showing an interest in the 'Shaun Of The Dead' live stage play production. You are invited to audition for the play. We are holding auditions for the production on the afternoon of Sunday 16th October 2005 at County Hall in Norwich."
I'm quite interested as how they're gonna do this as a stage show and make it good. Frankly the whole thing makes me a bit nervous. I don't see how they've landed a stage version of the script this soon, to be performed in Norwich. Hmmm. I might go along to this audition thing, I'm thinking about it. So email the guy at sotd-casting@hotmail.co.uk if you want to go along.
And I'll ring Cam in the next week or so to discuss the Cat.
