There is also love, loyalty, and an abiding morality that infuses the story but never overwhelms it. This is one of those rare novels that one wishes would never end. Fortunately, its sequel, The Subtle Knife, will help put off that inevitability for a while longer.
My Thoughts: I tried reading this book last year and could only get halfway through it. I am glad that I tried it again because this time around I realize that I can now say that this is one of the best books that I have ever read. If you enjoy a great fantasy read then this is the book for you.
