SGA 4x06: Tabula Rasa

Another great episode. This one really had an season one feel to it.

I loved the opening to this episode. There was a very freaky feel to it, and McKay's video was the icing on the cake. The 'This is Teyla. Find Her' throughout the episode was great, especially for Teyla fans. Even though she wasn't present until half-way through the episode, you could still feel her presence and I loved how the emphasis was put on how important she was to their survival.

Ronon and Teyla were great in this episode. I liked that the common Pegasus childhood illness was the cause of the entire thing and the two of them were like, "Yeah, we had it. Big whoop."

The costumers need to work on hiding Rachel's baby bump a bit better, but I guess since she finds out she's pregnant in Missing it can go for now. I loved seeing her still kicking ass even though her bump was visible. Teyla knows pi! Heehee.

Ronon was especially awesome near the end, taking charge and showing those soldier boys what to do. I loved when he just got fed up with John, stunned him, and hogged tied him in the jumper. You know someone's gonna get a bondage icon out of that scene, lol.

The Rodney/Katie storyline was cute and slightly sickening, although I liked how she named a cactus after him. I really thought they had killed Katie off in the end when Sheppard asked who else had died and they panned to McKay at Katie's bedside. I actually gasped out loud, so good on the writer's part. Rodney just looked so sad at her bedside too.

And any episode with that much Lorne and Zelenka in it is awesome in my book. I loved when Sam, Rodney, and Zelenka - the big scientists - turned up, and they couldn't do anything without being prodded along. Zelenka with a big metal pipe and Lorne hopped up on meds FTW.

Favorite scene in the entire episode, though, had to be after Rodney fixed the vent system and Teyla was like, "Now we just need to wait for Ronon and Colonel Sheppard to get back." The three scientists looked at each other and then at her, and said, "Who?" at the same time. It was great. :)

Now back to my new Stargate SG-1 Season 3 DVD set. Found it for $20 at Wal-Mart. I win!
