oh this is ABSOLUTELY adorable! I love it! My favorite part is the second to last paragraph, where Annabeth is realizing that he's thought about stuff like this not for the first time and how he doesn't do inadequacy well. It made me think about even though he's invincible now and all that, he still has insecurities and it was SO sweet and utterly human that I just went "AWWWWWWWWW!" through the whole thing!

I wish this piece had been much longer, though.....

This is so totally random--last night, without having seen this or the original prompt post, I started drabbling a fic where Percy and Annabeth grew apart a bit during college--mostly because Annabeth was meeting some of the intellectually elite and Percy was discovering the joys of poker with the guys--before coming back together because that's just what they do. I stopped, because the growing apart part was depressing me, but maybe I'll go back to it at some point.

Breaking up Percy/Annabeth is always just so depressing. I'll just stick in my fluffy little world, and keep them happy forever, hahaha.
