I'm kinda new to the PJO fandom (but not to fandoms) and I've been searching for good PJO fics for about a week. I've read quite a few of your Percy/Annabeth fics, and quite enjoyed them - wonderfully writtten and witty - but THIS fic, well, it stood out.
I was sure, reading the books, that we would have Luke/Thalia in there somewhere, but aside from a few things we could read between the lines in book 3, there was none. And then, at the end, I was surprised to see Riordan leaving Thalia out of the last fight, trapped under a statue, and more than heavily hint that Luke loved Annabeth.
Anyways, I digress. So, even though my OTP in PJO is still Percy/Annabeth, I still ship Luke/Thalia, so when I saw this fic among cabinthree recs and saw the summary, I couldn't resist reading it.
And I simply LOVED IT! Full of angst, yes, but so wonderfully written and orchestrated! I probably dehydrated myself reading it all in one go tonight! I cried my eyes out, it was THAT touching.
I also got a kick out of your choice of names. Green-eyed Mara (Jade from SW?), Jake (Abel), Adam (Winchester from SPN?) - btw, Jake can't get a rest, he is ALWAYS a vessel! XD
Even your little joke with the girls names, Anna and Beth - I wonder if Jake's third child was Percy, or even Thalia.
Ok, I think I went a little bit overboard and wrote too much, LOL! Don't mind me, I talk too much. :)
Just, congrats on such a wonderful fic!

Regarding the names, I actually didn't realize Jake's character on SPN was named Adam until after I started writing the fic, and I had sort of spaced the fact that the actor playing Luke was named Jake too. So it was all happy coincidence, I guess! :)
