I had an interview today with a business called Harry F. Long; they're in international shipping. It's a PT office position, but it sounds very high stress. Apparently, they deal with very demanding people, both their clients and Customs. The individual I interviewed with made Customs out to be big scary people who will quote regulations at you. On the other hand, the atmosphere is casual, and I'd only have 2 coworkers. I took a skills test and got to use an adding machine, which was a first for me. Fun machine, I think I want one just for the fun noises it makes.
I will also be applying for a position at the Children's Museum as a Props Specialist. I would get to use my Theatre degree, and work in an atmosphere I already like, and get an in via my volunteer work there. I don't know if I have the experience they want.
Therefore, I'm applying for both. My unemployment will be ending soon, and I need to find some job.
