...my guinea pig had a mastectomy. She is missing her right mammary, nipple and all. She's all stapled. There was a tumor. It's gone now and she's happy.
...despite the fact that I had a three day evaluation that was carefully recorded, my doctor denies I have what is in the report from said test. He said my arms may or may not get better, from 1 month to 1 years. My QRC agrees he is teh suck, and we're getting a 2nd opinion.
...I went to a hand-fasting on Samhain. The house was decorated with ghoulish things, the groom-to-be in his best evil butler get-up, the bride-to-be in corset and satin.
...I read a book about prions. Called "The Family That Couldn't Sleep," it is a scary, fascinating book. Learned a lot about Alzheimer's (which is a concern, as my maternal grandmother has it).
...I spent an evening on a sugar-high, screaming, "Bovine spongiform encephalopathy" at the dog because I like the way it sounds. BSE = mad cow.
...I spent an evening at a holiday bonfire, holding up cats.
And that is the news.
