Originally uploaded by bluebus. I took this shot while walking with Chris up the valley from Lynmouth to Watersmeet. The heron was around for a while and I took the opportunity to switch lenses and set the camera to focus on servo mode. I'm really pleased with the results.
It's odd to think that this beautiful valley once sent a devistating cascade of water and rocks down into Lynmouth back in 1952. It killed 34 people.
