EBSQ Show = Lifting the Veil; The Art and Tools of Divination
Every month, EBSQ hosts at least three shows. I almost always wish I could put something in all three, but I am lucky if I get one piece done. This month, I HAD to get a piece into the Divination show. This is what I cam eup with yesterday. I knew the concept since I saw the show topic, but I just got to paint it yesterday. The Statement:
This piece is my entry in the Sept 2007 EBSQ Show, Lifting the Veil, Divination. It depicts my version of Astral Projection that is reached from a meditative state (one method). One possible visualization one might use when you want to travel the Astral Planes, is to picture a flame, then pull the flame to yourself, and even engulf yourself. The ethereal body is always connected to the physical by a silver cord, that always remains a constant diameter, regardless of how far it is stretched in distance. In Astral Projection, one can visit another location or another time. As an example, about 8 years ago to this day, I saw my son, knew his name, and who his Dad was....we had started dating the week before. My son is three.
