i finally have a real chance to update about my life.
my weekend went very well. Saturday was a homecoming dance at ricky's school. I wore my black and red chinese dress for that. Got prettied up and make-upped and hair-dooooed. Quite fun. the food (desserts) were exquisite, and we got to hang with ricky's friend tom and nate. they are always nice to me.
Saturday had Boar's head tournament about a half hour away. I didn't get to fight, since im still not good enough, but I got to watch all my friends fight. My friend rachel, andrea and i were the only girls that came from our group of friends to cheer everyone on. I wore a hot pink peasant top with a light pink skirt. The tourney was called the "tournament of roses" in which each fighter got 4 roses made of chocolate. When they won a fight, the loser had to take one of his roses and give it to a person of the winner's choosing. I got 4! It made me so happy! I received 3 from my friend Dylan, and 1 from my friend Kyle. Dylan won a total of 25 out of 30 fights. He is an amazing fighter, although he doesn't think so. It was so much fun, because I must have blushed so hard what with the "my lady, this is from sir dylan/sir kyle" omg, so much fun! There were also tons of booths full of swords and clothes and pouches and books and so much stuff! I was also going to attend a class on painting but it got cancelled, so I had a blast just watching fighters! After the tourney I went and hung out with Ricky and watched Matrix 2.
Sunday was Ricky and my 3 year anniversary. I gave him a silver ID bracelet. He gave me the best day ever! It started with a scavenger hunt around his dorm hall: to the laundry room, to different floors, to his mailbox, and eventually ended up with a clue to his dorm room. He put a present in my backpack, and it is beautiful: a diamond necklace called a past, present, future necklace with 3 small stones on a silver chain. It is beautiful, and I almost started crying because it's the nicest thing he's ever done for me. We then went grocery shopping for essentials for a dinner, and he then cooked me dinner at his friends' apartment. It was definitely delicious meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and corn. Simply amazing. Definitely one of the best days I could have ever had with him. I'm still all happy and smiley about it!
