how do you say the words you want to say?
today was probably one of the best days ever. I, being the insane person I am, woke up at 6:45 just so that I could go see my friends at school and literally hang out there all day. I went to Werner's 1st hour class and just chatted with her about my ideas for teaching/career. 2nd period I found Mrs. Longawa and chatted, and then I saw Mr. Rohn and hung out there where the class talked about mermaids and massive death curves. very cool. 3rd period I came with Jose to spanish and practiced stuff with them / talked to one of the new teachers there who just came out of Marquette and told me what I should look forward to and what I need to be careful of.
4th hung out with Kitten and Lucifer at the Junior Civ Bake sale and I spent most of my time there, especially during 5th and part of 6th. Some of 5th hour though, I got to talk to Raftery and Rodey and hang out in their classes. They said they missed me (and rodey asks if I still walk the same way with the little tiny steps). Ate lunch with everyone. Sat in bandroom 7th and 8th and just talked to people. It was amazingly nice.
Around 5, Natalie and I came to Baker's Square where we met up with Allie Johnson, Kitten, Timmay, Zibba, Ubik, Maxwell, and eventually Kelly (allie's sis). Natalie says she feels really comfortable with everyone and just wants everyone to know that she appreciates you making her feel so welcome. She really misses home, and I think some of you guys remind her of people back home. She wants to stay in touch with you guys, actually, and I will be giving her your EMAIL or whatever just so she can say hey or whatever. Honestly, I think she had a blast with eating pie, meeting friends, and just talking away from school.
I'm glad because Allie is making plans to come visit (possibly with Kelly) and see the school. She's really thinking about applying to Marquette, and I honestly think it would be awesome for her to come be there. I can't wait. You all need to come visit at some point, because I could go on and on about how great a time I am having in college.
I know I may not get to see you all later on this weekend, but please know that seeing you guys today and seeing your faces/hearing your face really really really made my day. You have no idea how happy it made me, and no real words can express what I want to say to let you know how important you are to me. Thank you for making me feel at home as well as Natalie, and thank you for not letting my memory die with my leaving for college.
That's about it for me today. Tomorrow Natalie, my mom, and I are all trekking up to Chicago so Natalie can see the sights of the city, so I am very very excited about that. I just...omg, awesome day I love you all, kisses and hugs!!!!
