(no subject)
I have had a pretty good spring break despite having to work.
I went to a Kimya Dawson concert with Duncan and Courtney, saw my Granpap and uncles and cousins, talked to my cousin Sean for hours, talked to my Mom for hours, went with Kelly to see Rembrandt, ate dinner with the Dulaneys and talked for hours, had dinner with Duncan and Courtney and went swimming and fell asleep watching "The Departed". Pretty fun all in all.
I worked with Ramon today because Fred is sick. He was teasing me because I asked for 4-20 off to see Saul Williams. He said he doesn't need off of work to celebrate 4-20 (because he smokes at work). We were really busy today and after the crowd died down and the manager left Ramon said "okay, I'm gonna go get high real quick and then I'll come out and start closing". That statement made me laugh all day. He said "I don't know how you guys deal with this job without getting high" I asked him if that was how he avioded crying at work (because I cried on monday) and he said he would be crying all of the time if not for getting high. I don't approve of smoking pot at work, but it was really funny. I am a little sad now that I never get to work with Ramon any more. He actually closed really fast too, maybe smoking pot at work isn't such a bad idea.
Ramon told me that he and Duncan used to make plans to try to get me to talk. They decided to talk my ear off everytime they worked with me in order to get me to come out of my shell. I thought that was kind of sweet. I love my job in a lot of ways.
It is 11:17 sunday night and I still haven't done any schoolwork after a whole week. I am a master procrastinator.
