Does anyone know what it is about fresh brewed coffee that makes my entire house smell like farts?

My boyfriend makes coffee every morning and every morning I wake up smelling poop farts and I always think my dog crapped on the floor but now I've discovered the coffee to be the culprit.. because when he doesn't make it the house doesn't smell. It smells like farts - I mean I like coffee and I drink it but dang I wonder if my breath smells that bad afterwards.

Yes, I've also thought of that - but unless he has the smelliest and longest lingering farts of all time I just don't think it could be considering he leaves before I even get up. Maybe the only farts I've ever smelled have come from coffee drinkers therefore the smell of coffee makes me think of farts? I'm glad we're having this livejournal conversation hahaha!

That was tasty coffee though. Do you feel the same way when you walk down the coffee isle in publix?
