Hey, that's cool. I didn't actually expect you to anyway, but I figured it was worth a try. ;)

Dude, I could never be mad at you for not reading something I wrote (especially when you give such lovely reviews and encouragement for my B/C stuff).
*hugs back*

o-oh ....

*aches*

usually I need more closure (and happy endings) than this, but .... it killed me. Am dead now. *dead*

possibly, though, this is my reaction to the stargazers (which I love almost as much as tigers) and the planting and the dirt

*sigh* Oh ... Draco. *moresigh*

You've found out my secret, 'cause though I do enjoy a happy ending too, really with me it's all about the vagueness and angst. I love it. And, this was an experiment on my part to take the challenge (which was H/D and Draco plants a flower in the garden) and make it into something that wasn't fluff.

And, Stargazers mmm I love them too.

Ah, Draco, I can't help but torture him in one way or another.

thankyou thankyou

'Tis great, quiet like a sunny afternoon, but still so, so sad. My favourite paragraph would have to be the one about lilies, very dense and sensual, almost erotic. It makes me think of family as a vice, oppresive and omnipresent, l(L)ily being the thing that separates them. To me, it is quite Oedipal, frankly, bet then, I am strange. Very lovely and plausibly domestic.

Yes, exactly what I was going for. *is very pleased*

Eeee, you're so good. The whole thing with Harry's aversion for cut flowers and them never being given a chance the other way is totally about Lily (and James too) being 'cut down in their prime', and how he still hasn't really dealt with it. It's the one thing that they never talk about, and the lilies never blooming again when they're together is them stifiling each other with undiscussed/unresolved issues.

thankyousosomuch!
