oh LJ, what do you have to fuck with things that aren't broken?
LJ has made some disturbing "enhancements" which allow comments on LJ posts to be cross-posted/reposted to Facebook and Twitter, including comments on flocked posts. There is currently no way to opt-out of this "feature". So, I just want to make it known that I would prefer to not have the contents and/or comments from my LJ cross-posted/reposted to Facebook and Twitter (though I imagine that most if not all of you feel the same. Thanks.
Also, there is a Greasemonkey script for Firefox users that removes the cross-post buttons from the comment box. It makes things neater but sadly doesn't keep other people from cross-posting comments/content.
Also also, all tags using / now give a 404 error. I've heard this is a bug not a feature but if it's not fixed in a couple days I'll think I'll be going through and changing all my ship tags. Oh, hey, they actually fixed that bit. Amazing.
ETA: There's now a simple CSS hack that gets rid of the option for anybody viewing your LJ to repost if you have custom comment pages. Info here.
