I'm still watching the streaming feed of the parade, and I keep tearing up every time a reporter says President Obama. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

I read the address and it is rather neat. I'm very curious about how we will all feel about the guy after four years.

And congratulations, you guys! It's very heartwarming. Any plans for the anniversary of awesomeness?

It really is. The talking heads kept saying how the speech was so much more somber than the others we've heard from him and, while I agree with that, I don't think that is a bad thing. The reality we're in right now is pretty somber and it's pretty amazing to hear the President actually acknowledge that and say that we all have to work together to make it better. And that, when you think about it, is more inspirational than all the inspirational speeches. I just hope that all the people who think he is going to change the world realize how much work that is and how slow of a process that will be and give him a chance to actually do it before they get too disappointed.

Thanks! No plans really. The inauguration kind of overshadowed everything, you know, in a really awesome way. I kind of feel like what I got for my anniversary was Obama being President. There will, of course, be a trip to somewhere or other at some point, though.
