Also! Dean says Sam drinking and smoking sounds like him. Can I tell you how happy I am that that's canon now? That and that fact that he's started carrying a flask with him (or maybe he always did and we just never saw it before). The more I think about it the more I love it, man. About everything.

:) One of the things I love the most about S2 is how many little characterization things that I totally believed in my head are now canon. And, yeah, I bet the flask has a special place in the trunk held in with a leather strap always at the ready somewhere in the bottom right hand corner of the lid where he can grab it discreetly while reaching for something else.
Upon second and third watchings I am even more convinced that it's Ava's car. I mean it would be really dumb for them to use a blue bug there if it wasn't 'cause they're not that common. And, yeah, Sam doesn't mention it, but he's possessed then so of course demon!Sam's not going to mention to Dean how it's her car and I don't think Dean ever saw her with the car so he wouldn't know it was hers (plus he's worried about Sam right then so totally not in the headspace where he'd be thinking about anyone else who the demon might or might not have snatched anyway). I don't think it necessarily means demon!Sam had any contact with Ava, though, 'cause the car was in her driveway when they went to her house and found her missing. But, yeah, implications. I love this show.
Not sure if it means demon!Sam had contact with Ava, but it certainly makes you wonder about Ava herself. I, for one, am convinced that Ava is working for the bad guys. Why did I think this? Because when her fiance was killed, Sam found her ring on top of a puddle of blood, completely clean. Meaning it was intentionally taken off after the blood got there rather than ripped off her finger. If she didn't do it herself, then she knew/was working with whoever did it. But yeah, I'm looking for 'Hunted' screencaps to get confirmation on the blue bug.

Sam! Oh, Sam. (This, by the way, was such an Oh episode. Every five seconds it was Oh, Dean or Oh, Sam. You'd think I'd get bored with it but nooooo.) Boy is fucking scary.
That car in the storage space is totally Ava's.
WAIT. It is? Your eye for detail is obsessive impressive. Ok, the implications for that are scary. (And, in a completely off-topic sequeway: did you know that Ava is the girl from Ginger Snaps? This makes me insanely happy.)
Oh, yes. Oh everything. And then even more so almost the second and third time around knowing that Sam's possessed that whole time in the beginning and just playing Sam. It's just so. *shivers*
heh. Maybe a little obsessive, yeah. Though I'm gonna chalk that particular one up to the fact that I always always notice cars. But, yeah, if it's not Ava's car it's a really big prop mistake 'cause there aren't that many old blue bugs around (and since SPN's so good with consistency I'd be kind of shocked if it was a mistake).
Not only did I not know that I had to go look Ginger Snaps up on imdb 'cause I didn't even know what it was. And now I'm gonna have to rent it. :)
