It is always nice to get a visit from family especially since you are far away from them. My brother came over from Watertown, MA, on Monday to visit. It was awesome. We didn't do anything too special but we just spent a few quality hours together. We had lunch at Sahara, a pricey Middle-Eastern restaurant. We didn't realize how pricey it was until we got there. Entrees are about $12 so we just stuck with the $5-6 sandwiches. I had a kafta kebob sandwich.
On Wednesday nite, there was an outbreak of somekind of illness that made people sick. About 60 people got sick. They think it was a food-borne illness since everybody had stomach problems and all ate at the cafeteria. Sure this is important to investigate and let the sick students' parents know, as well as the whole campus, but it did not need every media outlet in the state of Massachusetts covering it. On Thursday, every channel that has a news broadcast was here trying to put together a sotry along with The Boston Globe and Worcester T&G. They blew everything out of proportion. I watched one of these stories and it was pointless.They did not need to waste thier time putting that together.
It is finally raining here this weekend. We needed this to bring us some humidity. We were parched here with only 12-15% humidity. Now we got a good soaking rain with probably around 3-4 total for the weekend.
