So because Ronni had to go work at the print shop today, she had me go to the apartments this morning to let a guy into the laundry rooms so he could inspect the fire extinguishers. He was really nice and informative about all the stuff that's involved with keeping it all up to regulations and everything.
So dad calls me later and I let him know that it's all done, and that the guy suggested the numbers on the 601 building be painted white because they're black numbers hanging on a dark brown wall, and he wasn't sure if he was even at the right address. He asked me where the numbers were, but I didn't know, so I looked around, and he spotted them first, and it makes sense to me to paint them white so they're easier to spot, because he said the fire department can site the landlords for that sort of thing and they can get fined or something..... so it makes sense to paint the numbers white. It just makes sense.
So I told dad that he suggested they get painted white so dad doesn't get sited. And dad says "Well that's none of his fuckin business."
Wow, dad. Never heard you use that word so openly before. And really? I thought you were smart about staying on top of shit like that to keep your money in your pocket. The guy was just trying to help, believe it or not. B| Idiot.
