I'm not even going to go back through my friends list, because I missed so much already and I really don't care to spend the time doing it.
Been mostly hanging out with Steve & Angela outside of working and sleeping. Steve bought a 360 online for a great deal, along with a year Gold membership, so he's playing my system and having fun with my games & stuff. He bought me a 12 month LIVE membership when it was on sale at Best Buy last Sunday, and I paid him back for it today, so yay for online play! 8) Angela & Steve helped me recreate my avatar to look somewhat like Ziggy Stardust, because I don't know what he's supposed to look like, but they do. He could use an eyepatch, though, and one of the pants sets from ..... some game style or something. I'll have to get some microsoft points added to my account. 8P
We all saw Princess & the Frog today, and it was so cute and pretty! I especially loved the villain and his shadow minions, watching them gave me such joy. XDDDD And his death was fucking AWESOME. Yay for epic evil disney deaths. >8)))))))
I think I finally figured out how to properly finish the pendants I've been making, after many foul-ups. I spent a lot of money on different things that I thought would work, but ended up not working...... but I've finally got it down, so it's all good. All it really is is applying gold or silver leaf to the back so it's uniformly covered, sealing the leaf, and then attaching some kind of bail. Well, I got the proper leaf, I got the proper glue for the bails, I got the actual BAILS instead of the makeshift crap that looks like shit, and I got the proper gloss finish for the back. I made a pendant for Angela, minus the leaf on the back, and I'm pretty satisfied with everything so far. 8)
Angela told me about bottle cap pendants she'd seen online, and I helped her make one with a beer cap. It looks pretty awesome, I'll have to get a picture of it later. We went looking for bags of craft bottle caps at the craft stores, but nobody sold any..... so we'll just have to buy some online.
