transformation of two stellated rhombic dodecahedrons from a cube, and books

I woke up at noon today from a phone call from my brother. First thing he asked was "Were you sleeping?" I said yes, and he asked me, "Were you dreaming?" I said yes, and he asked what I was dreaming about.

I would not have remembered it if he hadn't asked, but the last thing I dreamed about before waking up was being in a gift shop-like store and considering whether or not to buy a Yoshimoto Cube, or several to give to friends. 8)))))

Then Steve told me about him & Angela going to see Watchmen, and his reaction to it and stuff. We talked about differences in the comic, as far as I've been told about them, and some different things in the story that makes it really stand out among other comic book movies.

Then I told Steve & Angela about the different books I've been listening to since I'm too slow at reading so it's better to listen to audiobooks. The Secret by Rhonda Byrne, The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle, and The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. I've been on a real kick looking for inspiration, enlightenment, and happiness for less than a week, and I've learned so much already that it's just plain exciting. What startled me most was that I relearned something I had discovered by accident years ago through suffering, but never fully understood it. But now that it was explained plainly, it's such a joy to know that I'm back in that state of happiness that I had somehow lost years ago.

Steve recommended I get Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert Pirsig, so I'll be listening to that soon. I'm also getting The Art of Happiness: A Handbook for Living by Dalai Lama & Howard Cutler! Whoooah. If there was a tear in the space/time continuum and my past self from 3 weeks ago was reading this, she would think "There's no way I can read those books! They're too deep for me!"

But that's why the me in the present says "Listen to the audiobooks!" 8D
