i'm a pretty selfish person. i'm posting just to inform everyone that tomorrow [well, today] is my birthday! i can't believe i'm 21 ... can i really be this old?

as always, though, whenever i'm feeling selfish, Mark comes to mind [don't you feel special, Mark? you humble me from thousands of miles away]. A quicky update - he's doing well and recovering. he won't be back in the States until December 22nd, but he's pretty much out for the rest of his deployment. thank you to everyone who has asked and expressed concern! i know he appreciates it.

in other news, this semester only has eight more weeks left. friday is Broadway Night, monday was the midterm recital ... i really can't believe it. time flies!
