I was at Silver Snail today going through the back issue bins, and came across a number of issues of Adventure Comics from the early '70s. Looking at the covers alone I was startled at how quirky they were (and I thought they were pretty quirky already when I last saw them in the "80s).
Supergirl is portrayed as either terrified, emotionally blackmailed or insane (or at least believed to be insane)!

I only wonder what manner of strangeness will be remembered about todays' comics, in hindsight, in years to come.
